Sunday, June 4

Ford rolled out its first vehicle.

Do you know that on this day 4th June but a different year-1896, the world witnessed the first horseless carriage on the streets of Detroit?

Henry Ford made the first two cylinder engine whih he named 'Quadricycle' because
he mounted this engine on four bicycle wheels!

Do you know it had a maximum speed of 40 km/hr?

And it took nearly 12 more years before Detroit became the automobile capital of America when the Ford Motor Company pushed out its first Model T car.

Henry Ford was also famous for his quote:
"Quality means doing it right when no one is looking."

Facinating story really.
