Do you know Fanimation?

The word Fanimation is the thought of a creative person. This word pertains to an electric ceiling fan. The person who has imagined such a creative design must have also named it as Fanimation.

Wait! Look at the image below and tell me if I am right!

This gorgeous looking fan is a product of Islander fans that you can buy it from Farreys.com, the dealer of innovative fans.

Naturally impressed by their home page itself, I went about looking for more designer fans and I liked several of them. I could cite many images of fans here but let me point out only a few more.

I was captivated by the name Hunter Fans and among them I liked very much the 1886 series. When you are on that page, just scroll down and you will find it first on the second row of fans.

Finally, I want you to have a look at the Casablanca ceiling fan called Siena. A click on the link will show you that beautiful fan.

I looked around by the name of the ceiling fans. I was not really bothered about the cost. But you can shop by the brand name of the fans also.

"A fan is a fan"-some will say but for people with aesthetic sense, they will always buy something different and unique.

Saving money in London.

Contrary to the popular belief, saving money in London is not a big deal.

Though anyone traveling abroad makes plenty of planning and preparation but still, they could use some first hand information. It is true that there are a lot of travel service providers in the internet who can book hotel accommodation; arrange airport pickup etc but how many of them truly care for our wallet?

Here is a website that arranges hotel bookings at a considerably cheaper rates but also accommodate you at the last minute which is really helpful for any travelers.

Cheaperthanhotels.co.uk is a website living true to its name. They have tied up with hundreds of hotels all over the world and U.K. gets their special care. If you care to browse through Hotels in London, you will be amazed at the myriad options.

Next to London, the two other major cities in U.K. are Manchester and Birmingham.

Yes, certain images don’t fade. Manchester is known as the industrial city but it has shed its nick name and now offers several attractions for us.

Hotels in Manchester also equal in the amenities provided by the hotels in London. And while in Manchester, you cannot miss out seeing The Lowry, Museum of Science and Industry (this is a must see). The architecture of these buildings is simply breath taking.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention the Belle Vue Zoo.

If you happen to know a Brummie, request to be their paying guest. Else, there are plenty of Hotels in Birmingham also. Do you know that people from Birmingham are known as 'Brummies', a term derived from the city's nickname of Brum?

A visit to Birmingham is incomplete without a visit Edgbaston where many cricket matches were held. Then a leisurely visit to the Edgbaston Reservoir will be rejuvenating.

Since we already visited a museum in Manchester, let us skip it here and make a trip to Yorks Wood.

Make a note of cheaperthanhotels.co.uk for your future travel plans.

To sue or not to sue.

In our life, after much debate or dilemma, when a decision is made, we feel as if the problem itself is solved. A change of job, a change of subject in University or even a choice of relocation that is to be decided-in such matters, we don’t generally decide quickly.

Similarly, a fight for justice also weighs us down-to sue or not to sue also requires a legal help to decide. Only experienced legal firm such as simmons jannace & stagg who always put their interests first, can honestly counsel the best strategies.

This means they fully recognize the hardship even a plaintiff undergoes once the legal proceedings started. Hence, Simmons, Jannace & Stagg, LLP, has helped fortune 500 companies as well as small business enterprises by resolving conflicts in nontraditional ways. This pragmatic attitude has given them respect they deserve and have established long-standing relationships with their clients

It is no wonder this firm with twenty attorneys has achieved the highest peer review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which rates legal ability and ethical standards.

This candle that brings love.

I never thought a day will come when I write about sentimental products because I am the most 'anti sentimental animal ' as my family members call me.

Yes, I have compromised not on my character but on my determination to write about products that people value for sentimental reasons.

Look at the candle below and guess how long will it last. "This candle is nice decor for any number of decorative settings and will last a long time. It has no odor like some of the other scented candles."

This website is unique in the sense it sells unusual products at a very cheap price and the beauty is they get sold out in just one day. So, if you like a product, you have to buy at once; no use in procrastinating.

Go to www.crazymomdeals.com to see what is on for sale.

Do you know the top 15 Indian blogs?

Don't expect to find mine among the top 15 though I would like to climb up the ladder one day.

I noticed a link in Indian Pad about the said subject and I am happy that I visited the link. I visited the top rated blog of Amit Agarwal and he is one of the best I have ever seen in the blogosphere.

The top 15 Indian blogs also listed one blog called quick online tips for which I am already a subscriber. I didn't know that it is operated by an Indian till today.

The sixth ranked blog is of Brajeshwar's whose PR is 7. This is a fantastic feat and deserve to be commended. This is also the oldest Indian blog said to be started in 2001.

The fourth ranked Tech Buzz blog is operated by 17 year old TilakRaj.

Great reading.
Thank you Abhisehk.

Do you know Gahooyoogle?

I repeat: "Do you know GahooYoogle?"

See, I spelled it correctly the second time also, so you know I have not written anything by mistake.

I know you are very smart. You would have guessed by now that it is a mixture of Google and Yahoo but no direct connection with them.

And, yes, you guessed it correctly, GahooYoogle is also a search engine. In order to remember the spelling of this website, they have an amusing small poem.

"Write Yahoo then Google
Make the Y and G Toggle
Never forget GahooYoogle"

When you type in a keyword and hit "GahooYoogle" it, the search results from Google and Yahoo appear side by side divided by a line in between vertically.

Do you know the gift market?

I am 100% sure that everyone had undergone a mental block when choosing the perfect gift for an occasion.

Almost whatever idea that came to our mind would have been bought earlier. We all have the natural tendency to show our brilliance or innovative ideas through gift. It is a cherished expression that the receiver values and remembers for long.

Here is an Internet Gift Market that can give us plenty of new ideas for gift. For example look at the tubular candle holder below made of glass.

Isn't is terrific?

In this web site, we can search for gifts for every occasion like new baby arrival, house warming, fathers day apart from the regular festivals and events. The range of gift items or new baby arrival is extensive.

A good resource for gifts.

Do you know Symbaloo?

Very very innovative and absolutely brilliant idea.

Symbaloo offers us the facility to customize our start page with as many items as possible and re-arrange them anytime you want by just dragging and dropping. You can also exchange blocks by dragging one block on another.Symbaloo's mission is to create a start on the Internet for every human being.

Symbaloo an ancient Greek verb meaning 'gathering' 'assembling'. It perfectly reflects the mission of the company.

Symbaloo is an idea of Tim Has and has the mission to make the web more accessible. To accomplish this mission he founded symbaloo together with Robert Broeders, Koen Dantuma and Eduard Weijgers. Since June 2007, symbaloo is available in the Netherlands in beta. The US version is being developed at this very moment.

The symbaloo group is headquartered in Delft, the Netherlands.

How it works:

There are number of blocks spread over the screen. You click 'Add here" that appears on any empty block where your mouse lingers. In the next screen, you are provided various options of sources that you want to read daily.

It is a sort of RSS reader but only here, you will be seeing the actual website itself that you choose. For example, I chose "Mashable' under blogs to be placed on a particular block.

Got the idea?

This is really terrific friend.

Melbourne hotels and other accommodation.

Believe me, till today, I have been pronouncing Melbourne as Mel Burn but the actual pronunciation is Mel Ban.

No, I have never visited any Australian cities so far but my Internet work has provided me lot of opportunities to know about major cities in Australia and especially about Melbourne which is located around Port Phillip Bay in the country's south-east. Melbourne is the state capital of Victoria.

Before I tell you about hotels in Melbourne, I will tell you some of the important places to see. But, don’t expect a full list please.

The Melbourne Museum.

The State Library of Victoria on Swanston Street.

Crown Casino, a short walk along the Yarra River.

Of course, wherever you stay in Melbourne, the first place that will be suggested to see will be the Melbourne Cricket Ground. But don’t worry about finding accommodation in Melbourne, but first make your search in Cheaperthanhotels.com.au. They offer a fantastic range of hotels for every purse.

Your stay in Melbourne is not complete if you don’t ride in the famous Melbourne's tram network. Trams are not only a form of transport, but a tourist icon of Melbourne. While riding in a tram, you can see the tallest office tower and the Rialto Towers.

Many tourists will also visit St. Kilda, because it is home to many of the Melbourne's big events. St Kilda is an inner city suburb of the Victorian capital of Melbourne, Australia. Some tourists also find cheap hotels in St.Kilda and there are costlier hotels too for those who can afford them.

I will write about the food in Melbourne in my next blog.

Do you know Bretton Woods system?

I don’t think even a top notch financial expert may tell you about Bretton Woods system.

The Bretton Woods system of international monetary management established the rules for commercial and financial relations among the world's major industrial states. The Bretton Woods system was the first example of a fully negotiated monetary order intended to govern monetary relations among independent nation-states.

The chief features of the Bretton Woods system were an obligation for each country to adopt a monetary policy that maintained the exchange rate of its currency within a fixed value—plus or minus one percent—in terms of gold bullion and the ability of the IMF to bridge temporary imbalances of payments. But due to various external factors, the system collapsed in 1971, following the United States' suspension of convertibility from dollars to gold.

Though I can’t brand myself as a financial adviser, I have become some sort of an expert in precious metals market because of my association with Monex Deposit Company (MDC), America’s gold, silver and precious metals investment leader.

Monex has a team of analysts who feel that silver, and specifically us silver coins, presents an outstanding investment opportunity and this is the right time to accumulate our bag of silver coins.

Any takers of this useful advice?

The secret behind honey's long shelf life.

Have you ever wondered how honey is able to remain unspoiled for several months?

It is very simple. It has low water activity.
Water activity is relative availability of water content.

Do you know that nectar as such is very dilute compared to honey? In the beehive, water from the nectar gets evoporated due to air flow created by the beating of honey bees' wings.

This low water content in the honey doesn't support the growth of micro-organisms or fermentation and hence the reason for honey's long shelf life.

Honey is 83% solid matter. It mainly consists of fructose and glucose. When the bees collect nectar, the sucrose in it is partially digested by the bees thus yielding the fructose and glucose.

Thank you Hindu!

Vending Solutions.

I didn’t know till today that 7-Up was created as early as in 1929 by Charles Leiper Grigg. It came to India only in 1990.

I found a lot of interesting tidbits and useful information about vending machines in vendingsolutions.com. They feature a fantastic glossary.

I was advised to know as many new words as possible in the vending machine industry before I approach Multivend, LLC for a franchisee opportunity. Since the glossary page was not that long, I was able to memorize all the words quickly.

Before I attend the franchisee interview at multivend, I decided to pick up some background about them. In the United States, Multivend is the exclusive manufacturer of the Vendstar 3000, the ubiquitous vending machines that one can see in the U.S.

I wanted to become their franchisee and I have a unique product in mind that I don’t think the Americans have seen it yet. I am eagerly looking forward to coins tingling in the vending machine’s collection box.
