The language of flowers.

No one can say for certain the exact language of flowers!

From the stone ages to modern times, men and women expressed many emotions like reverence grief, love, respect, affection, joy with just about every kind of flowers.

Similarly no one is really sure how Valentine's Day got its start; there are as many guess and stories as flowers.

The holiday is named after two men, both Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the High Middle Ages

Only in the second half of the 20th century, the practice of exchanging cards was extended to all manners of gifts in the United States, usually from a man to a woman.

Such valentines day gifts typically included roses and chocolates. In the 1980s, the diamond industry began to promote Valentine's Day as an occasion for giving jewelry.

Do you know that Valentine's Day has emerged in Japan and Korea as a day on which women, and less commonly men, give candy, chocolate or flowers to people they like? This has become an obligation for many women.

From a wide range of fantastic flowers to melting cookies and savory snacks, Dot Flowers has everything for every type taste and beliefs.
