Single button RSS for your web site or blog.

This blog post is dedicated to the RSS buffs.

You can call me crazy to spend more than 4 hours a day reading RSS feeds of about 30 social bookmarking sites. But I just derive great fun in doing so.

I get terrific content for my blogs, I widen my worldly knowledge and I also pick up good friends across the globe.

The RSS-specifications site helped me find out about this excellent RSS button tool with which you let your visitors subscribe to your feeds and bookmark your pages with ease.

Add a single button to your website and users can easily subscribe to your feed regardless of the feed reader or feed reading service that they use. Check out AddToAny.

Why place the "Add to Any" button on my site?

  • One button: Add to Any is a single-button solution that saves you precious page space and from cluttering your pages with a bunch of Add to [Service] buttons.
  • One click: Users of Add to Any typically save their services so that any Add to Any button, including the one on your page, is a one-click link to the service(s) they use.
  • For RSS feeds: Your feed becomes exposed to the widest possible audience since Add to Any includes every user's feed reader.
  • For pages: The Add to Any button/link reminds your visitors to bookmark your pages and links to every online bookmark manager.

How is this different from FeedBurner?

FeedBurner links your visitors to a small amount of feed readers while providing you with traffic analytics and other feed services. Add to Any enables your visitors to visually choose among any feed reading service and is completely about making feed subscriptions (and bookmarking) extremely convenient for visitors.

You can use FeedBurner in conjunction with Add to Any by entering your FeedBurner feed url like http://feeds.feedburner.com/FEEDBURNER_USERNAME in the Feed URL box above.

Share it with others please.
